Name has changed officially from 'Kerala' to 'Keralam'

Kerala Assembly unanimously passes resolution to change official name of State to ‘Keralam’.

Also, the name of the state in Malayalam is Keralam and not kerala. Kerala is some englished version of the name Keralam. In all malayalam texts it is keralam.

Name change - Why restricting ? Other articles has changed already for other places

The name of Wikipedia article allahabad is changed to Prayagraj once government changed the name officially. Why not this is happening for Kerala to Keralam in Wikipedia ? Afv12e (talk) 03:53, 14 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
