Classification

[edit]

Koodiyattam has its early origin in tamil area, before sanskritised it may be played extensively in tamil nadu.So classification of koodiyattam as a malayalam art alone is incorrect. It is an art that belongs to malayalam and tamil as well. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 175.140.43.10 (talk) 11:51, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The Claims are ridiculous and Claiming art forms just based on 1000 years ago history is cheap as it is exclusive to Kerala. No art form is Based on Language as claimed like Tamil art and Malayalam art or even Telugu Art.More over it is Tamil Nationalist texture in your comment. Mistake in File

[edit]

The first black and white image of Mani Madhava Chakyar - the middile character is using a crown not from traditional koodiyattam but from kathakali. Suggest to replace this image with more apt one. --Ranjithsiji (talk) 12:25, 8 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
