Born in Plovdiv? I do not know where was he born, but in the other versions of this article in other languages, we can read, that Pulev was born in Sofia? Actually, everywhere I check (but here), Pulev is sofian. Please, verify this information! Greetings! Back0ut (talk) 15:14, 22 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Viewership

[edit]

Klitschko viewership number can’t be right. 207.96.74.69 (talk) 09:29, 30 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed it. The content in the cited sources was identical, a copy-and-paste jobbo, which makes them both utterly useless. If somebody can find a reliable source with the actual reported numbers then fair dos (I still won't believe it though). – 2.O.Boxing 13:49, 30 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Proposal.

[edit]

Proposal. I have noticed recently that the bout with Frank Mir was removed from Pulevs professional boxing record. I don't disagree with that being done but I think a new section should be added called modified rules or special rules boxing bouts. The simple fact of the matter is I think this will be necessary in the future because of the popularity of events like this increasing. I just thought we showed get this out of the way pretty quickly considering he's already been announced to fight former UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos under the same rules and more than likely many more notable after its will be participating on the card.

Boxrec has the fight documented under the bare knuckle boxing category although I don't believe this would be completely accurate.

@Savemgs: I think the section that's already there is enough. Record tables are for the purpose of disseminating information quickly. Reading a record table with one or two fights would be no quicker than reading the one or two paragraphs in the prose. Pulev is also unlikely to have many of these fights in the future as, well, he's like 93 years old.

However, if he does pull a Roy Jones and keep fighting through his pension then this will probably need revisiting. – 2.O.Boxing 14:31, 22 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
