Was Brugman's life of Lidwina printed in 1433?

[edit]

Is your source, the Catholic Encyclopedia correct? Printing in Europe began with Gutenberg' about 1450. Maybe Brugman wrote a biography in 1433 but it wasn' printed till later?

When was Brugman's life of Lidwina printed?

[edit]

The atrticle (and the one on Brugman) follow the Catholic Encyclopedia and give 1433. But this was before Gutenberg's invention of movable type ca. 1450. Maybe Brugman wrote in 1433, but his work was printed later?
