Promotional piece, not encyclopedia article

[edit]

A Wikipedia article should not be a promotional piece. It should have a neutral point of view and it should avoid puffery. Assertions should be sourced. From the paragraph on her new book "Victory":

the most successful progressive social movement of the last four decades - Who says?

this admirable and amazing political triumph - Who says?

Rave reviews. - "Generally positive" would probably be OK, but "rave"?

I'm not an expert on Wikipedia editing, but if I were, I'd pepper this article with "citation needed" and "point of view" tags. Omc (talk) 13:19, 22 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. I have removed some of the promotional stuff and added a tag for better sources. More third-party sources are needed. It may still be too promotional. --Boson (talk) 21:12, 24 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
