Scattering in other contexts

The Lippmann-Schwinger equation can also be used to prescribe the scattering amplitude for electromagnetic or even sound waves across a region of varying material parameters (respectively speeds of light and sound in the medium). I think this article would benefit from some additions to reflect how the Lippmann-Schwinger equations are applicable to more than just quantum mechanics. This article needs much more information. There is large part on S-matrix context, which does not belong here. I will move it elsewhere and modify it.
