Table sorting is broken

[edit]

The table showing unemployment rates per province is broken. When ordering provinces by unemployment rate, it stats with 9% as the highest counting down - but then, double digit unemployment rates are found at the bottom. That's not right. I'm not sure how to fix it. Ds77 (talk) 03:21, 11 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Relevance of last section

[edit]

The current unemployment rate doesn't take into account future, projected labor shortages? That's not even wrong. I'm not holding my breath for the stampede of businesses seeking to exploit Newfoundland and Labrador's 17% unemployment. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.95.24.246 (talk) 20:19, 17 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Regional Differences in Unemployment Rates

[edit]

The various regions in Canada suffer unemployment rates quite different from the provincial average. For example, Manitoba has a provincial average unemployment rate of 5%. Within the province, rates are different: Northern Manitoba suffers an unemployment rate of 34.8% according to the latest statistics from Stats Canada. Perhaps there could be an additional section discussing the regional discrepancies in the unemployment rates? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Smidkiff1776 (talkcontribs) 20:59, 19 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
