Table

[edit]

This list should really be turned into a table. See Chronology of real-time strategy video games. SharkD  Talk  22:12, 7 July 2012 (UTC)\[reply]

I was able to put together a table of a the games. If you want to see how it looks, click here. Let me know if you want me to put it in the article.--Joeyjoejoeman (talk) 20:06, 17 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Stop adding games that are terrible.

[edit]

Please stop adding Trenches and Troubles to the list. It is a terrible game. Also stop adding games that aren't finished to the finished section. Its annoying as hell.

[edit]

This is an article about World War I games. That means that as long as your game is about World War I, you can add it to the list. We like to see more games on this and have it as accurate as possible. Just make sure that you put it in the right section.

No that is not what it means at all. I could go make a terrible game slap WW1 on it and why should it be allowed on this list? Trenches and Trouble could be renamed anything else and be taken for that. You could call it WW2 battle or whatever and it would still make sense because nothing of that game has any indication that it takes place in WW1. Other than that its a terrible game that doesn't need to be included on this list. We are trying to compile a list of GOOD World War 1 games and not some crap that a 10 year old spent a few hours on. Thetalkingheads (talk) 15:06, 16 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Trenches and Trouble has a ton off indication of World War I. If you look at the American flag, it only has 48 stars instead of 50. Obviously, there was lots of trench warfare in World War I and there was also the use of chemical weapons. The United States and Germany were on opposite sides. Colt 1911s were used. If you don't think this game resembles World War I, then you obviously don't know a thing about it and you shouldn't be editing this article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Joeyjoejoeman (talkcontribs) 20:42, 16 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
And yet ingame the German flag is the modern one first adopted in 1919 by the Weimar Republic (after the war ended) instead of the flag of the German Empire. So I guess this is a fictional conflict taking place in the interwar, and thus doesn't belong in a list of WW1 games.
That being said, this page is currently way bellow wikipedia standards. An article in a VideoGaming website should be a bare minimum for inclusion (and it's already bellow the "published secondary sources" requirement of WP). Don Durandal (talk) 23:52, 16 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Stop Removing Good Games.

[edit]

Please stop removing Trenches and Trouble. It's the best World War I game I've ever played. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Joeyjoejoeman (talkcontribs) 18:52, 17 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Stop adding Trenches and Trouble. Thetalkingheads (talk) 15:09, 30 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Page overhaul

[edit]

If you are going to add games to this page, for gods sake put them in the correct order by year. We need to set standards for this page.

TRENCHES AND TROUBLE IS NOT ALLOWED. This page isn't to advertise your games on! So stop adding that horrifyingly terrible game! I am going to be working on making this into a table eventually. But for now just please have common sense if you are going to edit the page.

Thetalkingheads (talk) 15:03, 16 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Trenches and Trouble is allowed. New rule. --Joeyjoejoeman (talk) 01:15, 4 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Trenches and Trouble is ALLOWED

[edit]

This game has received a new wave of popularity recently and it is only right that it stays on this list. It's like removing Call of Duty from "List of Modern Shooting Games" or something like that (hypothetically). Keep this article ON THE LIST. Have some common sense before removing an article. If it's a game that has nothing to do with world war one like flappy bird or something, that's fine. But don't remove games that are about World War I. Nobody should remove games because of their opinion. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Joeyjoejoeman (talkcontribs) 01:12, 4 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You can't make a new "rule" so your game can stay on the list. Trenches and Trouble was clearly a game made by you and you are using the page as an advertisement.

Thetalkingheads (talk) 18:33, 11 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Talking heads, we all know you made Super Trench Attack. So stop supporting it. That's basically what you're saying to Joeyjoejoeman. Please respect others! Like he said, the world doesn't revolve around you and you shouldn't remove good games because of your opinion. I will be monitoring this page to stop disrespectful vandals like you from removing quality games from this list --WorldOneExpert10102 (talk) 18:59, 11 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I did not make Super Trench Attack. Joeyjoejoeman and all the accounts made by Joeyjoejoeman, in a very weak attempt to try to gain legitimacy for this game, have proven my point further. Thetalkingheads (talk) 05:17, 13 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Keep games alive

[edit]

Chill, Talking Heads! It's only a video game. Don't get all worked up. So it isn't the best World War I game out there but like Joeyjoejoeman said, Trenches and Trouble could have some potential. I've been a gamer for a long time, bro, and I've seen critics misjudge some games that ended up being wildly popular. You know the Harry Potter Series, it got rejected a few times before being published. Look where it is now! Don't be one of those bad judges who does that to a game. Maybe it could be a hit game someday! For now, just leave the game alone. --TotalGamer15015 (talk) 21:20, 11 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. This game shouldn't be removed because of one person's opinion. Talking Heads, who are you to not think of other opinions before yourself? Wikipedia is like a democracy, one user shouldn't decide what articles should contain. Trenches and Trouble is good enough of a game to keep on the list. Maybe not the best game in the world, but it's good enough. Thank you for your cooperation. --BlackBelt360X (talk) 01:18, 13 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This is clearly just Joeyjoejoeman making numerous accounts trying to make it seem like others support this decision to keep this awful game on this page.

Thetalkingheads (talk) 05:18, 13 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Talking Heads, I doubt that you have even played Trenches and Trouble. I don't get why you are so stubborn on removing it from the list. Also, I would like to state that I am not Joeyjoejoeman. So stop accusing me of it. I will remove Super Trench Attack from this list since you obviously made it and you are only removing Trenches and Trouble because you don't want any competition for your game. I will add Trenches and Trouble back to the list. Don't remove links just because you don't want others to play games that you didn't make.

--WorldOneExpert10102 (talk) 22:08, 13 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Actually since Super Trench Attack is at least fairly popular, and is actually for sale on Desura.com, it belongs on the list. I did not make Super Trench Attack. And I am sick of arguing with a 12 year old suffering from multiple personality disorder. Thetalkingheads (talk) 16:50, 14 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Talking Heads. It's Joeyjoejoeman. I have made a table of the Wikipedia page. If you want to view it, click here --Joeyjoejoeman (talk) 21:10, 14 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Young money

[edit]

Stop removing that game, talking heads dog. You ain't fresh. You got no swag. Shut up and get a life. Who spends there whole day yelling at Wikipedian to stop messin with articles and all that. u wanna be swag, than do something productive. face it, it's a wiki. There's gonna be some guys messin with ya. Trust me, I've been a New Yorker for 16 years and I know that the more ya get mad, the more they gonna mess. And Joeyjoejoeman, trolling ain't swag. Well, at least most of the time it ain't. But anyways, troll at ya own risk, money, cuz it ain't gonna be easy overdone. That's all i gotta say. peace out! --Umesswithdawrongguy (talk) 00:16, 15 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not trolling, I'm adding Good links and improving the article. --Joeyjoejoeman (talk) 00:23, 15 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Add trenches and trouble!

[edit]

Guys, Trenches and Trouble is a solid World War I game! Why can't we add it to the list?

Add Battlefield 1918 please?

[edit]

Battlefield 1918 is a mod for Battlefield 1942.It's need to be add to this list because of course it's WW1 focus. LongnamXL35 (talk) 02:54, 13 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
