Katy Perry wasn't nominated for three iheartradio music awards in 2014. Sasha Leiva66 (talk) 02:13, 18 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Not done she actually was, see this. Snuggums (talk / edits) 02:52, 18 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

That was the first list of nominees but then the nominees were less in every category. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sasha Leiva66 (talkcontribs) 19:41, 20 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Wins vs. Noms + general points

[edit]

Greetings all, I did some clean up over at List_of_awards_and_nominations_received_by_Ha*Ash after looking at some other lists (can't remember if they were FL or not), and another editor reverted some of my changes, referring me to this article. I don't mean to be aggressive, but this article surprised me (perhaps it's just my own expectations of endlessly bad 'lists' on wikipedia!). A few points I'd like to raise (if someone could explain reasoning, I'd appreciate it! I'm reading thru FL criteria atm, I guess I'll re-read MoS on lists):

  1. Template:Infobox_awards_list says that nominations are only for when the award wasn't won. Is the infobox on this page following an old rule, or is it purposely different?
  2. That is a massive lead that could give the (false) impression of individually naming each award. AFAIK, leads should be a summary. (i.e. should/can we make it smaller?)
  3. Is it necessary to include blurb about every award group, if they are wikilinked? (I'm going to read the MoS/Criteria, but it seems superfluous to me)
  4. Same thing with Perry has received five awards from thirty-seven nominations.. It seems like duplicating information (2 or 3 times)
  5. What about criteria? I notice in the Talk archive some non-notable awards were removed; but some now appear in the list while not appearing in the infobox, The red! Star Award for example. Is it because they're referred to in WP:RS?
