Did You Know A fact from this article appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the "Did you know?" column on November 5, 2008.
The text of the entry was: Did you know ... that magazine publishing company Condé Nast Publications made its largest acquisition ever when it purchased Fairchild Publications for US$650 million?
Current status: Former featured list

reddit was purchased not too long ago for an undisclosed amount. Shouldn't this be added to the list? ~ PaulT+/C 09:43, 24 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The New Yorker?

[edit]

This list doesn't even mention that Conde Nast bought the New Yorker from Peter Fleischmann in 1985. That's certainly prior to, and certainly more important than, Signature Magazine, whatever the hell that is. Consequently, this list is not only laughably incomplete but demonstrably incorrect.
