future

[edit]

Disney has made no acknowledgement for the future.

On August 26th 2017 a former Cast Member at Disneyland confirmed that the parade would be moving to an offsite warehouse near disneyland.[1] So far nothing else has been confirmed by disney leaving some suggesting that the parade may return in the future.

At D23 Expo 2017 Bob Chapek said that Disney had to keep something a surprise [2] the Casey Jr drum float was shown on the screen and some people believe that an announcement on the parades future is soon to come.

@Pepper Gaming: Once again, no, we are not adding this due to WP:Rumor. Also, DO NOT delete a talk page section, edit or delete anyone else's comments. This is a vital part of wikipedia's process, and failure to follow these rules may lead to be blocked. Elisfkc (talk) 17:18, 1 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The only Twitter and YouTube accounts that could be considered reliable sources are @Disneyland, @DisneylandToday, @DisneyParks, etc. Saying "according to Disneyland Management" does not count. --Elisfkc (talk) 17:24, 1 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Elisfkc but can you add the part about Bob Chapek saying that they were keeping something surprise and disney has made acknowledgement on it's future — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pepper Gaming (talkcontribs) 17:28, September 1, 2017 (UTC)

@Pepper Gaming: Nope, because once again that falls into WP:NOTCRYSTAL. Until something is official, we don't talk about it in the article. Elisfkc (talk) 17:35, 1 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Elisfkc: ok thanks for explainig why you kept removing it before. BTW do you hope the parade is going to continue running and if yes where would you like to see it run at you can choose between Disneyland in California or Walt Disney World in Florida

@Pepper Gaming: Though this page is "not a forum for general discussion of the article's subject", I'll say that I hope to see it again in Florida. Elisfkc (talk) 17:59, 1 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Pepper Gaming: This is straying a bit off topic, but I do have fond memories of going with my parents in September 1996 to see the parade one last time before it "glowed away forever" (I still have my commemorative button somewhere), and if that experience taught me anything, it's that you should never count the MSEP out entirely. That said, any mention here of yet another encore presentation should wait until something official is announced. --Ahecht (TALK

@Elifkc @Ahecht i agree but with that being said i have a feeling it will possibly return because if you look at what Disney did in 1996 compared to what they did this year it wasn't as big a thing this year compared to 1996 as in 1996 there were adverts all over the Disneyland Resort saying that it would glow away forever then this year Disney left us with nothing and it wasn't much of a "goodbye forever" but anyway nothing else has been confirmed by Disney so let's wait until something is annouced (i'm saying the latest would be january but this is just my guess) anyway i'm going to prepare for a discussion livestream on the parade and what i would like to see for it's future. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pepper Gaming (talkcontribs) 18:53, September 1, 2017 (UTC)

versions of this Parade

[edit]

@Elisfkc: can I add versions of this parade back to the page? Pepper Gaming (talk) Pepper Gaming (talk) 23:51, 12 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

No, unless you have reliable sources to cite. --Elisfkc (talk) 02:08, 13 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Elisfkc: if i add any reliable sources am I ok to add this edit back Pepper Gaming (talk) 18:34, 13 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Pepper Gaming: Yes, but they have to be reliable and state what you are mentioning in the article. --Elisfkc (talk) 18:37, 13 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Elisfkc: thanks and two things 1. I will do the reverting and the sources seperately 2. ignore the two links below as they were for the future section Pepper Gaming (talk) 18:41, 13 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Pepper Gaming: Still have nothing about Paris. Elisfkc (talk) 18:53, 13 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Elisfkc: i'll find something about paris now Pepper Gaming (talk) 19:00, 13 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Elisfkc: I like your thinking of merging Versions with the History page Pepper Gaming (talk) 19:11, 13 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Pepper Gaming: I think it is better as it is, with the versions being a subsection of the history section. Elisfkc (talk) 19:13, 13 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Elisfkc: I agree, it does look better too plus I may do the same with a few things on the Disney wiki's MSEP page Pepper Gaming (talk) 19:16, 13 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I found miss in versions section.

[edit]

Hi! I found miss on the versions section. Version C description says "Original Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade was replaced to Dream-lights in 1997". but I think Original version replaced to Disney's Fantillusion parade. Disney Fantillusion parade performed until June 21, 1995 to May 15, 2001. Dream-lights parade start after Disney Fantillusion parade. Dream-lights was start at June 21, 2001. Sorry for my poor english. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hiro-yam-tokyo (talkcontribs) 13:03, 12 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

“To Honor America” Text is Repetitive

[edit]

The change to the "to honor America" finale is mentioned nearly word-for-word three separate times in this article. Is that necessary or can this be condensed to one or two times? Bipolarcomposer (talk) 23:28, 19 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
