Nice article, but...

[edit]

I go to Cherry Point often and used to live there. This is a pretty good article. However, we might need an article on the (Naval Air Depot) NADEP Cherry Point and Marine Corps Auxiliary Landing Field Bogue Field. These three installations are close to each other; in fact NADEP is on the Cherry Point base and Bogue is a 45 minute drive away. - Hoshie.Crat 03:57, 23 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I also wonder who was actually deployed in OEF from Cherry Point in those first months after 9/11, as I was on that mission, and we didn't have any Marines. I also note that there's no attribution to the claim that Marines and Corpsmen were involved. Raininja (talk) 03:49, 29 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The picture of the two Harriers over the front gate is fake and ought to be removed. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=5799209&id=180347441040&fbid=434597866040 That is the link to the photo on the official Cherry Point facebook page. - Marine stationed there. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.199.183.17 (talk) 17:59, 4 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
