This discussion page is for discussing changes in this article, not the character, Max Goof. – PJ PeteJuly 1, 2006.

Page Names

[edit]

The article titles: "Roxanne (Disney)" and "Mona (Disney)" should link to this article. Although they're not quite as well known as Goofy, Max, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Donald and Daisy Duck, and Pete and Pete Junior. --PJ Pete

Category Question

[edit]

Do any of the following categories qualify?

  • Fictional musicians (closest I've seen besides Max singing in A Goofy Movie would be him shown on guitar in a later Disney Afternoon intro)
  • Fictional reporters (unsure of this)

Just wondering. WAVY 10 Fan (talk) 16:16, 30 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Max and PJ were reporters for Pete's newspaper in the series, and they also had a band, with both playing guitar. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.106.36.56 (talk) 16:28, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The image here is grainy as hell... isn't there a better one?--Jacob.husted (talk) 19:15, 14 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

First appearance?

[edit]

There seems to be some conflict in the article about Max's first appearance. The introductory paragraph and infobox both cite Goof Troop, 1992, but the Origins section says he first appeared as "Junior" in a 1951 short. Could this be rectified? --2600:1008:B06F:DCCE:0:C:B28:B601 (talk) 16:25, 24 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

About max's mom

[edit]

So if max and goofy j.r. are the same person would that make ms. geef max's mom? I mean unless Max and J.r. are two different people. Therefore if max's mom is not Ms. goof/ms. geef then max and J.r. must be half brothers and are not the same person. It can not be both ways.

are max andf goofy the same chararter?

[edit]

question it states goofy jr. evolved into max. Is this really correcect? are they the same chararter?

Bradley a "significant other"

[edit]

An IP editor has tried several times to post in the infobox that Bradley Uppercrust III is Max's "significant other" in An Extremely Goofy Movie. As far as I know, Bradley is the antagonist in that movie. "Significant other" means that the characters are romantically linked, so unless Max is revealed to be gay or bisexual, it's unlikely that they're "significant others". Am I missing something? I would be happy to hear from the IP editor. Toughpigs (talk) 18:59, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
