Hello,

This is the account of the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) Communications Department, the parent organization of the Medical Imaging & Technology Alliance (MITA). After reading this entry, I would like to suggest some additions to make this page more valuable to Wiki users.

Additions are below.

Suggested change for first sentence: The Medical Imaging & Technology Alliance (MITA) is a division of the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA). MITA represents medical imaging equipment, radiation therapy, and radiopharmaceutical manufacturers.

Suggested new paragraph: Through NEMA, MITA develops standards for medical imaging and radiation therapy equipment. These standards are voluntary guidelines that establish commonly accepted methods of design, production, testing, and communication for imaging and cancer treatment products.

Thank you for your consideration.
