Durability

Ask people in the business of restoring antique furniture and woodwork that's been painted with milk paint about how difficult it is to remove. It's very resistant to common chemical paint strippers. Bizzybody (talk) 07:43, 23 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It's easy enough to remove. However most modern commercial strippers are based on an organic solvent, intended to remove oil-based resins. As milk paint is completely different to this, they have little effect. Other stripping techniques work though. Andy Dingley (talk) 10:24, 23 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
