Sindhi text behaving strangely

[edit]

I attempted to correct the birth and death dates of Junejo from MM/DD/YY/ to DD/MM/YY. I however encountered a problem when I tried to edit the lead section of the article. The following text "محمد خان جوڻيجو" in front of the subject's birthdate, behaved strangely when I tried to put a number in front of it. The number somehow got put behind the Sindhi text. It would apparently only work when the dates were written this way; "August 18" instead of "18 August". I do not believe I explained this problem accurately, but you will know what I mean when you try to edit those dates. 78.108.56.35 (talk) 23:29, 24 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I was able to work around this problem by enclosing the Sindhi text in a template. Afterwards the Sindhi text did not warp the Roman text around it and I was able to enter a Day-Month-Year date directly after the Sindhi text. Dieter.Meinertzhagen (talk) 18:19, 16 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
