Possible COI edits? Issues with sources and quality of information

[edit]

Today I removed the self published sources, but noticed when I tried to find alternative sources for some of the awards information it did not exist. For example, it stated she won,"Visual Arts grant Pollock Krasner Foundation, New York (2001)", but I searched the Pollock–Krasner Foundation website and it did not list her as a former grant winner and nothing online or in news. If someone can find this information with reliable sourcing, please add it back. Also the WP article had previously stated she was living in NYC and Bogotá, Colombia however no citation was provided - and with many citations it appears she lives in Lincoln, Nebraska. I don't know why someone would change that information, unless there was a COI existing. Jooojay (talk) 04:39, 22 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This was written as part of an Art+Feminism event and college class. Please do not expect perfection; the students did the best they could considering 0 prior Wikipedia experience. Thank you for your improvements so far; feel free to make any additional adjustments. ɱ (talk) 11:08, 22 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I see, thank you for the clarification re: issues. Perhaps we can add the Art+Feminism event template to the talk page? Jooojay (talk) 23:08, 22 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
