'...merged into the Iron and Steel Trades Confederation.[6]'?

[edit]

This appears to be significantly inaccurate, and the link fails. The National League of the Blind and Disabled, along with other unions, notably the ISTC, merged to form Community, in fact. The NLBD remains a distinct section of Community, altho its separateness appears to be currently under threat, perhaps due to low numbers. At the time of writing it is difficult to retrieve information on the NLBD Section from the Community website, it appearing to have no 'Search' facility, but it is mentioned in the 'Our history' section (https://community-tu.org/about-community/our-history/) in a manner which seems to have it joining Community four years before the latter's inception(?!). Arguably, this is to downplay its historical importance, and the importance of the historical contribution of disabled trades unionists in the union and in general.--Richard Comaish (talk) 11:43, 10 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
