Early Career

[edit]

Hodder Education has recently reprinted Tangye's book 'Teach Yourself To Fly', 70 years after it was first published to celebrate 70 years of the 'teach yourself' series. There's a bit of interesting information in there about the author; most of it from the book sleeve, which I think is probably the original text from the 1941 edition of the book. I know very little about him after that date, but I figured that the information from the book was worth adding in, even if it does leave the page with a pretty gaping hole about his life between 1941 and 1988, when he died. Hopefully someone else can fill in some of the gaps. TimTim (talk) 20:47, 15 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Dates of first publication for his other works would be useful too.----Felix Folio Secundus (talk) 05:50, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
