Hmm

[edit]

Using my ability to see into the future, Alastairward's gonna move the "cultural references" and the "Self Referencing" section here anyways. Might as well do it before he does.

Although I actually see the "Self Referencing" section as questionable. Just cause they're on top of a building its a parody of Night of the Living Homeless? AznWarlord (talk) 19:54, 31 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for agreeing that not all notes are notable! ;)
But you'll see that I tagged the cultural references and just removed the trivia. I'll wait a month or two before removing the uncited stuff, just to keep the bullies around here happy. Alastairward (talk) 19:09, 1 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Us wicked, evil bullies will cite the DVD when it comes out, which it won't in "a month or two". If you remove it long after the DVD has been out with nobody to cite it, us evil wicked bullies could care less.

If you're so sure about the DVD containing pertinant information, why not just wait till it's out to put your information on the page? That way you can inform and not break WP policy on verifiability. Alastairward (talk) 14:59, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

?

[edit]

Did someone erase the page? Even the history is gone, but I'm sure there were comemnts yesterday. - 84.27.9.117 (talk) 11:27, 31 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Change the image

[edit]

It's ruining the episode for people who didn't see it yet. 217.132.251.136 (talk) 09:32, 1 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It was decided a long time ago that wikipedia is a basically a large spoil-sport, so spoilers aren't really a concern when writing an article. If people don't want it spoiled, they'll avoid the wiki page until they've seen the episode, which pretty much makes sense for anything you don't want spoiled. Orichalcon (talk) 09:05, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I agree, but I think this is a bit too much. A single image witch destroys 2 whole episodes. Kakun (talk) 18:36, 11 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Agree as well - lots of good images, no reason to pick this one which does nothing but spoil.96.233.108.221 (talk) 18:45, 11 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sure the episode takes some of it's influences from the above film, the recording part by stan's dad. — R2 21:57, 3 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Startled

[edit]

Why does Randy keep saying how startled he is?

Is it a reference to something? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Chanology (talkcontribs) 01:29, 4 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Probably a reference to Blair Witch's somewhat infamous scene in which the character, camera far too close to her face, whispers "I'm so scared". The Mink Ermine Fox (talk) 03:34, 20 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

References

[edit]

Am I alone in thinking much of the premise of this part is a reference to LOST?

Also, anyone see the reference to Florida sex offenders being forced to live under a highway overpass in Miami?

I think there was some dialog referencing a classic American WWII action movie as well, but it has escaped me now. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.233.108.221 (talk) 18:52, 11 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
