"Plantation was an early method of colonization in which settlers were "planted" abroad." Reference please. I thought a plantation was merely a small colony where where banana tress, tobacco, etc was planted, rather than the colonists. PizzaMan (♨♨) 08:23, 27 April 2016 (UTC) Edit: i looked it up.
