About the Japanese episode list/sublist template

[edit]

Dear User:Coolanime3. You should read the documentation of template {{Japanese episode list/sublist}} before reverting what other people has done. Your assertion "this information is irrelevant. It is also unnecessary to add" seems poorly informed. One the contrary, it is REQUIRED to give explicitly the name of the masterfile where this series will be transcluded to build a list of episodes. Therefore, I reverted you. Best regards. Pldx1 (talk) 19:58, 26 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Eddie Blake. You should read the documentation of template {{Japanese episode list/sublist}} before reverting what other people has done. The name of the main page has changed, and must also be changed here. Therefore, I reverted you. Best regards. Pldx1 (talk) 15:04, 28 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

English Names

[edit]

Please rename the names for XY & Z. It's not Sotoshi anymore, it's Ash Ketchum. Including the Pokemon names Zeta Nova (talk) 08:48, 25 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The names of Pokémon and the characters keep their Japanese names for each episode until the episode airs in English in the United States. After each episode airs in English in the United States, the names of Pokémon and the characters change to the English names. Coolanime3 20:54, 30 July 2016 (UTC)

Come on man, Really, JUST put in Ash. I was confused when I saw this, now think how confused would be to other people coming to this article, it is not good outlook if you are hiding information in another language. Alexis Ivanov (talk) 01:47, 6 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Get a consensus if that is how you feel it should be.—cyberpowerChat:Online 09:37, 9 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not going to bother since I don't have the energy, nor am I interested, I was here because I am waiting for Ash OR I believe Ash will win the Kalos League. When I commented I was talking as an outsider reader, I just think it is confusing and not encyclopediac. This page gets 10,000+ views everyday. Satoshi-Gekkouga instead of Ash's Greninja, Satoshi instead of Ash and Shota instead Sawyer. I have watched Pokemon in the late 90s and then stopped watching, first time hearing Satoshi. Ash is the commonly recognizable name WORLDWIDE Alexis Ivanov (talk) 10:09, 9 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I agree that the names of characters/pokemon should always be in English. If a Japanese person wants the lowdown of the episodes, there's always the Japanese Wikipedia to suit their needs. As for the English speaking world, as is pointed out numerous times, using English for USA-aired episodes and Japanese names for unaired episodes only serves to cause confusion.
As a note to Alexis Ivanov, Satoshi-Gekkouga isn't Ash's Greninja, it is Ash-Greninja, the state of them being one, in mind and appearance - an alternate evolution to Mega Evolution, which can only happen between Ash and Greninja, either by fate or their unusually strong bond for one another.Grez868 (talk) 02:30, 13 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Summaries

[edit]

Not complaining, but is there a reason why the episode summaries are hidden?--Loyalmoonie (talk) 18:30, 28 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Move discussion in progress

[edit]

There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:List of Pokémon: Indigo League episodes which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 23:33, 20 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Shouldn't there be a Pokemon Z game?

[edit]

I'm just saying, why reference a game that doesn't exist? Aydroow (talk) 21:27, 28 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
