I'm sure it does need a rewrite. I'd transferred the text from the article about the poem's author, with marginal updates for publication history. I'm not the one to rewrite it, though; I'm not a Latin poetry scholar.--Zimriel (talk) 14:57, 19 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
More than forty tags [citation needed] are really maniacal. After the fourth or fifth the reader has certainly understood the problem of the article, as well as the pedantry of the person who put them. Reduce!--Hyphantes (talk) 23:47, 18 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
