Charles III obverse?

[edit]

Is there an image available of the new Charles III obverse mentioned in the article? – Sca (talk) 22:17, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not that I'm aware of. I used the Elizabeth II one from 2009 because it was on Heritage Auctions' website and I have their permission to upload their images, but the quarter sovereigns they have auctioned are all Elizabeth II. I used an Elizabeth II. Even though the design is copyrighted the image can have a suitable license tag. I suppose you could grab a Charles III image off the Royal Mint's website but neither the image nor the design would be free, and the fair use rationale is better in my view if the image can have a free license even if the design is copyright for another 25 years.
