Martial Law

[edit]

The article previously said "RPN was launched on June 29, 1960 as Kanlaon Broadcasting System (KBS) after Pres. Ferdinand Marcos sequestered the rights of Chronicle Broadcasting Network (CBN-9) of Eugenio Lopez, Sr. during martial law." This cannot be. Marcos was not president in 1960 and martial law was not declared until 1972. I tried to clean up this section but since I don't know the history I have probably gotten several dates wrong.--Bruce Hall 07:18, 21 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Directory

[edit]

Wikipedia is not a directory and Wikipedia articles are notDirectories, directory entries or a electronic program guide. For example, an article on a radio or TV station should not list current program schedules, stations, etc. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia (Not a directory), so many "useful" things that do not belong in an encyclopedia are excluded and removed.--Hu12 (talk) 12:45, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Move to Solar TV

[edit]

I'd rather stop this confusion over the name right now since they're transitioning to this new name today, I think this article should be moved to the title "Solar TV," how we did it on the last re-brand was unconventional, but now that its a bit more clear, I think its about time that its changed. I've already updated the infobox on this. ViperSnake151  Talk  16:11, 29 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
