Some of this information is out and out wrong. The entire article is sourced, and needs an overall clean up. --Sicilian-American (talk) 00:58, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

shouldn't there be a list of Doges of Pisa on this page, or in a seperate article? Unfortunately, I cannot find any list, otherwise I would make it myself. Rcduggan (talk) 02:22, 4 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This article is seriously in need of inline referencing. - tucoxn\talk 00:04, 14 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Flag and CoA

[edit]

Both the flag and the CoA are wrong. Its a known fact that Pisa adopted its current symbols only after the republic was abolished. As many sources says (example http://www.rbvex.it/italiantica.html https://www.araldicacivica.it/comune/pisa/#:~:text=Araldicamente%3A%20%E2%80%9Cdi%20rosso%2C%20alla,Mussolini%20dell'11%20ottobre%201932.), Holy Roman Emperor Federick Barbarossa conceded a plain red flag and the imperial arms to the republic in 1162, to appreciate the loyalty of the republic to the Empire.
