Jesuchristo?

[edit]

Interesting: the introduction talks about Jeus Christ, but the whole text of the requrimiento (and I checked the version in Spanish) does not mention Jeus, nor his death and resurrection...--Pan Gerwazy 23:08, 28 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've rewritten the intro so that doubts about Jesus' involvement might be more clearly understood. --JAXHERE | Talk 16:58, 14 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Date?

[edit]

What is the source for the date? My notes say Palacios Rubios drafted it in 1513, and it was first taken to the Indies by Pedrarias de Avila as governor of Tierra Firme in 1514. Llajwa 01:59, 3 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It was written in 1513, and I corrected the article. StephenMacmanus (talk) 01:19, 16 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

What is the relationship between Requerimiento to book of Deuteronomy?

[edit]

What is the relationship between Requerimiento to book of Deuteronomy?--82.81.86.85 (talk) 16:07, 13 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't forum-shop. This question is now being answered at WP:RD/H --Dweller (talk) 15:55, 14 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It has been suggested that the Requerimiento written by Council of Castile jurist Juan López de Palacios Rubios article or section should be merged with Spanish Requirement of 1513. This should not happen for it will make facts about both less specific. 70.195.0.167 (talk) 21:34, 4 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
