Appreciation

[edit]

Even the Scotsmac appreciation society on Facebook is totally uncomplimentary about this product. Both the blenders and the bottlers seem too ashamed of it to have web pages or even websites. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 22:53, 26 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It's likely non-notable then. Since the QD failed, i'm PRODding it. If that fails, I'll AFD it Purplebackpack89 23:19, 26 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nickname

[edit]

An IP address edit claimed the nickname is Bam's Dram. A Google search suggest that Bam's Dram refers to another equally unexciting product: Buckfast Tonic Wine. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 21:14, 19 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A google search for Scotsmac & Bam's Dram also turns up results - e.g. http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2008/sep/07/scotland.drugsandalcohol and, although I can only offer my word, my Uncle recalls it being called the Bam's Dram from back in the day. Wham's Dram? Never heard any mention of this nomenclature. I therefore suggest reversing the last reversal. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.46.2.129 (talk) 22:38, 23 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

No more whisky

[edit]

I bought a bottle of this today and it now says "British Wine with the Flavours of fine whisky" (sic). I think this must mean it doesn't contain whisky any more. Not sure what it does contain, though. Other than "imported grape juice". 19:14, 28 April 2015 (UTC)
