This article and Seleucid Empire have a great deal of overlap. john k 5 July 2005 04:10 (UTC)

Copyvio

[edit]

Most of this article is copyvio from [1]. The author of the article showed up on Amir88's talk page to complain, but he didn't know how to mark and report a copyvio.

All of the edits by Amir88 that I've seen are copyvios. We need to go through his contribs systematically and weed out all the copyvios. Zora 08:55, 26 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Oh dear. And if there are too many that are copyvios, we'll probably have to get rid of all of them to be sure (unless he can assure us that some of this contributions haven't been copyvios). We should be able to keep the list of Seleucid kings, though - I can't see how that can be copyrighted, jguk 12:29, 26 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]
It could be worse. I looked at all his contribs and he's only worked on 26 articles. I have a little list, they shall none of them be missed ... Zora 13:31, 26 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]
This one should simply be redirected to Seleucid empire anyway, considering john k's comment above. SouthernComfort 15:40, 26 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]
The copyvio template was removed without explanation ([2]). I'm trying to clear it from WP:CP; should we revert to the pre-copyvio version or redirect as recommended above? --rbrwr± 18:46, 5 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I'd vote for redirect, and just remove the copyvio prose. Zora 22:55, 5 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]
