Scope

[edit]

I decided to move this article back to "Greater Vancouver" and to reset the scope. I have not seen secondary sources that discuss the Sikhism of Abbotsford together with that of Vancouver.

The Vancouver area and Abbotsford area are both close to each other, just like Beijing and Tianjin are (Chinese municipal boundaries are broader than Canadian ones, so their metro areas are entirely in their municipal boundaries, and these boundaries border one another). Even so, culture/society in Beijing and Tianjin are often discussed separately in the secondary sources. Likewise it's the same with the Vancouver and Abbotsford areas. I was very surprised to see Abbotsford excluded from this article. The Beijing/Tianjin comparison is off base because those are much bigger cities further apart. Abbotsford is part of Great Vancouver for most purposes. I don't see the rational that Surrey is included but not Abbotsford. Legacypac (talk) 05:55, 23 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
