Help Needed

[edit]

I've noticed that on season 2 the results table is messed up. I would edit this but sense I was not a fan back then I do not know what the story was so could you please fix it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.243.210.16 (talk) 18:45, 15 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed. MissMJ (talk) 22:59, 15 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Middle Names

[edit]

On this page the results chart that Jessica King's, Kourtni Lind's, & Kherington Payne's middle names are mentioned. I would like to ask if this is appropriate and accurate as well as this being information that must be known. I would love to take out the middle names myself but I am not a member and sense the information is locked I can't do anything but type this message. So please write me back. Unknown user name. 15:51 27 June, 2008 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.243.210.16 (talkcontribs) 19:52, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Middle names shouldn't be included because A. they are not used on the show, B. they usually can't be sourced. People could be making them up for all we know. If anyone can find a sourced middle name for a contestant, it should go on that person's individual article/section if they have one. MissMJ (talk) 05:52, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Missing Music

[edit]

I'm too tired to create an account now. So, can someone add “Chemical Calisthenics” by Blackalicious feat. Cut Chemist as the music that Qwest danced to on the week 3 elimination show. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.180.160.215 (talkcontribs) 03:59, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I had been wondering what the song was; didn't catch it during the show. It's been added. MissMJ (talk) 05:52, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Comfort Back in, Jessica Out!

[edit]

I just read on TVGuide.com that at the Fox Press Tour or somewhere, Nigel announced that Jessica had to leave the show for medical reasons and Comfort has agreed to come back in her place. I would add it myself, but I am unsure how to work with the chart system on Wikipedia.

Eliminated v. Elimination Songs

[edit]

Having BOTH of those sections on EACH results shows is just bugging me b/c it's redundant information. OBVIOUSLY if there is an elimination song, that person was eliminated. Could someone go through and just remove all the "Eliminated" sections? :D

Comfort In the Bottom 2 Many times

[edit]

Why is comfort still in the competition if she has been in the bottom so many times. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.12.35.194 (talk) 21:45, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Eliminated v. Elimination Songs (the sequel)

[edit]

Why are the results posted in the "Performance Show" chart if you don't find out until the Results show? I have gone to look for couple pairings for a taped show, only to find results posted. Pissed off is a understatement. darrennie (talk) 02:43, 25 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

*shrug* Someone added it at some point and we ended up doing it for every table. I don't particularly think that it makes sense to include results in the performance tables either... The bottom couples/contestants are listed in the Elimination chart and Results section, adding them to the Performance section seems overkill. MissMJ (talk) 02:32, 26 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just a suggestion, you could replace Eliminated with Bottom. Other than that, very nice. Call it Buck if you wish . (darrennie (talk) 01:15, 27 July 2008 (UTC))[reply]

Performance/results reformatting suggestion

[edit]

I'd like to suggest that the performance and results information be put under one section for the corresponding week, rather than having two sections for the same week. It would make the season pages look much more organized and would make finding information a lot easier. It just doesn't make sense to have the info for one week separated, especially on a page with lots of text. It would be easy to do; just cutting the results information and pasting it below the performance information. (So for example, there would be one section for Week Three, under which you'd find everything about that week.) Aloha princess (talk) 20:03, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree... I think it would look a bit cleaner and it seems to make more sense for the purposes of finding information. Are there any objections?--Dukeruckley (talk) 23:22, 8 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Audition choreography

[edit]

The article has no information about the choreography round of the auditions. I think it should at least say who was the choreographer and what music was used. 88.85.131.61 (talk) 21:11, 30 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

That information is in the paragraph under "Las Vegas week." The choreographers and styles are listed. However, what music was used is pretty much impossible to know at this point, unless someone has a recording of those episodes lying around still and is willing to go through and identify all of the songs. MissMJ (talk) 00:35, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I think the original request was for the choreography used in the audition cities at the end of each day - not during Vegas Week. While it should be possible to determine which choreographer(s) were used in each city, in a number of cases, they do not show any of the actual performances - just some rehearsal, and then either the judges give some of the dancers their decisions or Cat announces the results in a voiceover. - That Don Guy (talk) 17:42, 7 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

What airs versus what actually happens

[edit]

Correct me if I'm wrong, but at the end of the actual "Vegas week", didn't the 40 or so "survivors" get sent home, only to be called back to Hollywood, where the "green mile" set is made to make it look like they're still at Planet Hollywood? The article implies that the Final 20 was chosen on the last day of Vegas Week. (The show is notorious for being misleadingly edited - for example, in Season 5, the broadcast implied that some dancers were given a chance to "dance for their lives" during a particular Vegas Week round while others were not.) - That Don Guy (talk) 17:50, 7 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
