Anne Marie's Notes:

Hi Sarah-- I don't know how to send you cupcakes, or beers, or any of that, but I did take a good look at your article, and here's some feedback for you. Hope all's well-- see you Thursday. Anne Marie W-G (talk) 00:18, 14 April 2015 (UTC)Anne Marie W-G

Teacher Leadership: definition and context: I guess I’m wondering what makes teacher leadership different from other, traditional forms of school leadership. Come right out and say that in the first sentence or two.

Spectrum of teacher leadership— I appreciated the graphic. I’m not sure the arrow behind your text boxes really conveys the relationship between leadership styles, since I don’t see “teacher networks” or “teacher leaders” to be any further removed from teacher leadership than the other. Also, you have a typo in the second text box.

Teacher co-ops— this style of leadership is missing from your spectrum.

Research Supporting Teacher Leadership— This research looks pretty convincing. Is it balanced, though? I remember something in the wikipedia guidelines saying that it shouldn’t really be persuading the reader one way or the other of the thing you’re writing about. I’m not sure about this though— maybe check in with Tanu?

Headings for Administration-led, teacher networks, and teacher leadership— It seems like you have 2 sets of headings here that could be condensed into 1, since they’re on the same topic.

Factors of implementation: You seem to have a lot in quotes here. I seem to remember this being somewhat of a no-no in wiki-land. Any of it that can be paraphrased and put into your own words?

Teacher Leadership

[edit]

Hi Sarah, Here is my feedback: a few quick fixes:

  1. ) Instead of starting your article as a section title, if you delete the title "Teacher leadership" from your article, the table of content will move up, and give you a firm lead section.
  2. ) all the subsetions in bold should be sub headings, you can use double equal signs to make them so.
  3. ) You can link out to all the pages under the option of Different kinds of leadership
  4. ) The citations have to be in Wiki format.

Your article is very strong content wise, the only major change you will have to make is to align it to Wikipedia standards, and link out to existing WIki pages.
