"Temple priest"?

[edit]

The text describes a 4th century inscription and says "This suggests that it was the burial place of the Temple priest Zechariah". There was no Temple in the fourth century, or the third or even the second. It seems to be an odd error - perhaps trying to differentiate Cohen from Christian priest. Who knows. I'll delete the words "Temple priest" and replace with "Cohen". --Dweller (talk) Become old fashioned! 09:08, 21 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Ah... one minute. We're suggesting it's a text describing something that happened 3 centuries or so earlier. I'll clarify that instead. --Dweller (talk) Become old fashioned! 09:10, 21 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
