If I don't hear any objections, I'm going to redirect Travelers Group to Travelers Companies, which already covers what little information is in this page. Jlin 07:47, 8 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm changing the redirect to Citigroup because Travelers Group (as opposed to Travelers Insurance) was one of Citigroup's predecessors. The only connections between Travelers Companies (formerly The St. Paul and St. Paul Travelers) and Travelers Group are the old Travelers property-casualty business and the Travelers name and umbrella logo, all of which came from Citigroup in one way or another.
I might accept the redirect to Travelers Companies if we were talking Travelers Insurance (the insurance company), but Travelers Group (its former parent company) is more associated with Citigroup than the current Travelers. The non-insurance assets of Travelers Group (Smith Barney, Commercial Credit), as well as Primerica Financial Services, remain with Citigroup to this day. --RBBrittain 02:28, 24 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
