Notability

[edit]

I see the prod was removed with the addition of a couple of references. I'm still not seeing this article meeting notability guidelines. While the book mention is a step in the right direction, the single paragraph newsletter mention doesn't do much to establish notability, it also is not clear how this reference demontrates that the organization is "politically relevant". The fact that there are zero Google news hits doesn't look good for finding the kind of significant coverage in 3rd party reliable sources that is required.--RadioFan (talk) 21:59, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The Rogstad source contains the words "the Turkish Youth Association, which has become politically relevant in Norwegian society" in the abstract linked via the doi. You couldn't get much clearer than that. And there are Google News hits.[1] Phil Bridger (talk) 10:17, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Non-English sources are fine but you cant expect others to improve the article for you especially if it requires non-English sources.--RadioFan (talk) 13:21, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
What makes you think that I expect others to improve the article for me? I have absolutely no interest in the subject, apart from not wanting an article on a notable subject to be deleted. Phil Bridger (talk) 14:01, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
