User:Charles Shaulis The only RS among those is the book Passing the Test: Combat in Korea, April-June 1951 which seems to use both spellings Gerhardt and Gerhart. If you have the book note 3 on page 298 may explain the different spellings.Mztourist (talk) 05:37, 2 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
User:Mztourist Unfortunately, I do not have access to the hard copy. However, if you had taken the time to scroll through the books.google.com link until you reached the notes on Task Force Gerhart on p. 407, you'd have seen a partial description of the error. Here's the USMA (West Point) link for George Horner Gerhart - https://www.westpointaog.org/FindaGradDisplay?reid=OrNFnrWGLujYVAEYAZZJbg%3d%3d&bbsys=0&bbrt=0 Charles Shaulis (talk) 06:20, 2 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I was looking for note 3 (which isn't there) rather than note 1, but accept that note 1 addresses the discrepancy. You can reinstate your changes. Mztourist (talk) 06:28, 2 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
