Removed YouTube citation

[edit]

Just wanted to note my edit here that removed a YouTube link cited as a source (see WP:USERGENERATED). If someone can find a reliable source verifying the allegation that FOX stole from World Chase Tag, then it can be added back into the article. As of now, I think it's only safe and fair to say that similarities exist between them. ~EdGl! 13:58, 20 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Trademark claims

[edit]

I removed claims of the trademark ownership of World Chase Tag because the source provided was World Chase Tag's own website. Fox has the rights to "Ultimate Tag" according to the US Patent and Trademark Office (here and here). There's no news coverage of any sort of controversy regarding trademarks, so I removed it from the article entirely. ~EdGl talk 04:57, 3 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ultimate tag theft of intellectual property

[edit]

I would like to point out that although there are no stories about it on big news channels that doesn't mean that creators on YouTube haven't talked about it. World Chase Tag was there long before Ultimate tag and Ultimate tag definitely new about World chase tag as many of their competitors was from world chase tag and since World Chase Tag is the only professional tag tournament and Ultimate tag said that they're taggers were professional they must have come from World Chase tag. The reason that the WCT hasn't sued is because Fox being a massive corporation would crush the WCT with legal fees.Funnygoat (talk) 00:47, 4 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I don't have much info to give regarding this, other than the reasoning of not including it is above ('Trademark claims'). Magitroopa (talk) 01:07, 4 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
