Merge
[edit]I think this article needs to be merged into WZMY-TV. Sure the stations are unrelated, but they occupy the same channel. Therefore, there should be one article about the same frequency. CoolKatt number 99999 03:47, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
- for an idea on what it would look like, see User:CoolKatt number 99999/Draft. CoolKatt number 99999 03:59, 13 May 2006 (UTC)

Broke off again
[edit]Did anyone bother to notice that WXPO is licensed to Manchester, while WZMY is licensed to Derry? It's not the same allocation. The stations belong on separate articles--it's not even a close call. Blueboy96 04:21, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
- To be fair, sometimes a city of licence will move (for example, WRZE-FM's licence moving from Nantucket Island to a location on the Cape itself a few years back), but yes you are correct in this case. Since the WXPO licence was actually deleted in 1975, the current WZMY is a totally different licence and therefore a different station. There was no active channel 50 licence in the area between 1975 and 1983. It's not a case like the channel 56 allocation, which still had an active licence between 1956 and 1966 when it was off the air. --EmiOfBrie (talk) 20:03, 20 September 2008 (UTC)
