The result of the move request was: Moved to Western Avenue station (BNSF Railway) and Western Avenue station (Milwaukee District). (non-admin closure)  — Amakuru (talk) 17:05, 16 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

– Per WP:USSTATION. Geographic disambiguation is preferable to line-based disambiguation wherever possible, especially given that line and service names are more likely to change than cities and neighborhoods. Western Avenue station is already a disambiguation page. Line based alternatives would be Western Avenue station (BNSF Railway) and Western Avenue station (Milwaukee District). • There won't be a conflict, but "Western Avenue station (BNSF Railway)" is a really confusing name for a station that isn't served by the BNSF Railway. (I suppose that's Metra's fault for giving its lines confusing names, but it's still worth considering.) TheCatalyst31 ReactionCreation 01:37, 4 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • True, but BNSF owns the line, operates the trains, and I think in this case actually owns the building itself. The lead makes it clear what the station is; the article title doesn't need to tell the whole story. Mackensen (talk) 01:50, 4 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
