Comments

  • Usually don't need references in the lead, per WP:LEADCITE.
  • "nobleman from the Dutch nobility," nobleman from nobility? Repetitive.
  • Lead feels like it could be expanded to a couple more sentences.
  • "He was born..." normally biographies re-iterate the name of the subject in the opening sentence of the first para of the main body of the article.
  • "at Eton College. He served" -> "at Eton College before serving"
  • Did I miss the link to Earl of Clancarty in the prose?
  • In the infobox, what is meant by Family and The Peerage, both linking to The Peerage?
  • " Galway on the" comma after Galway.
  • "on the market" perhaps "up for sale"?
  • "It followed the Wyndham Land (Purchase) Act 1903" what does that mean?
  • "and later died " no need for "later".
  • Background seems to be in the wrong place for me.
  • "emigrated to Ireland from England in 1631." unref.
  • Only one of the children appears to be inline referenced?
  • "The story of the early relationship..." unref.

That's all I have for now. The Rambling Man (Keep wearing the mask...) 12:27, 10 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Capsulecap I guess I'll close this in the next couple of days if I don't see any progress. The Rambling Man (Keep wearing the mask...) 07:29, 17 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Okeydokes, hopefully someone will be able to use the comments to improve the article at some point. The Rambling Man (Keep wearing the mask...) 15:31, 21 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
