Template:U.S. politician abbreviation/doc

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Usage

[edit]

This template generates party and state affiliations for U.S. Senators and Representatives, complete with a non-breaking hyphen. It takes two mandatory parameters, |1=party affiliation and |2=state abbreviation, and one optional parameter for House members, |3=district number, and returns text with a tooltip. Use |link=y to generate links instead of a tooltip. The shortcut {{USpolabbr}} can be used.
