This might be a stupid question, but what is the TF column? Grande (talk) 05:59, 17 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

TF means Tries For. --Buzzbros2002 04:00, 18 September 2011 (UTC)

Colors After 7 Games

[edit]

Lots of edits going back and forth. As it stands now, England should be grey and Romania is red. Everyone else is blank. This is because Georgia still has a chance to finish #2 or #3 in the pool. If they do so, either Argentina OR Scotland could drop to #4.

  • Georgia beats Romania, earns a bonus point. ARG/10, SCO/10, GEO/5.
  • Scotland loses to England, earns no bonus points. ARG/10, SCO/10, GEO/5.
  • Georgia beats Argentina, earns a bonus point, denies Argentina a bonus point. ARG/10, SCO/10, GEO/10.

So with three teams tied on 10, the first tie-breaker is points difference. Argentina (currently on +32) and Scotland (currently on +18) would be worse than they our now, due to losing their last match. Georgia, having won two matches, would have improved upon their current -40. In this scenario, these three teams can finish in any order, which means that each can advance to the quarterfinal, each can qualify merely for 2015, and each can finish #4.My Dinner With Andre The Giant (talk) 16:11, 25 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
