To capitalise or not to capitalise

[edit]

@DaveTheBrave, Flix11, and Mattythewhite: Hi all, I saw this dispute when visiting S.A. Julio's talk page. I think Mattythewhite is right. To be consistent, we should not use Third/Fourth Place in squad templates. Have you ever seen Champions, Runners-up or Semi-finalists there? I have not, and I have no idea why 3rd/4th place should be capitalised. This practice is likely a mistake or an inconsistency which has persisted so long that some of you think it is somehow correct. I think it is not, and if I have time (unfortunately, I currently do not) I will de-capitalise them right away.

Anyway, there are Olympics squad templates with Gold/Silver/Bronze medal, but the 'medal' part is separated from 'tournament' part by a long dash (–), they are considered 2 words/phrases. That capitalisation seems acceptable, but to be consistent with other squad templates, we should also use lowercase letters and merge those 2 phrases.
