This template is gigantic[edit]

This template is gigantic, isn't there a way for someone to shrink it down. It literally takes up a third of the top of the page and really takes away from the page content, or perhaps make it a template to put on the bottom of the article page.--Christopher Tanner, CCC 03:55, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Title Image[edit]

This is primarily directed to Pbabcock87: we definitely need a title image and heading for this template, or else visitors to pages with this template will be lost. It is for this reason I will revert your deletion of the header - I am doing this in good faith, however. If you could go ahead and post somewhere - preferably on this discussion page - the reason to delete/replace the heading that'd be great! Again, I just wanted to give you a heads-up that no harm or insult is meant in my reversion. Vamooom 21:35, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Modifications[edit]

I've made following modifications in order to reduce the size of this image -

  • Removed "other" section. Those topics are already covered in rest of the topics.
  • Removed "see also". That section should not part of the template.
  • Removed line breaks for each topic in dishes section. Gnanapiti 19:17, 6 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Broken?[edit]

Is it me, or is this template broken? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.177.157.66 (talk) 16:11, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

How so? If there is a specific problem, I can try and fix it. As far as I can tell, however, it is all working fine. I might have missed something, though. Vamooom (talk) 17:12, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Update[edit]

I have update the template using a variant of the {{Sidebar}} template that allows for collapsible lists with in the template. This makes for a more compact infobox that still has all of the data as the old one. --Jeremy (blah blahI did it!) 10:26, 20 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have added A Hindi script to this template because it is the primary official language of the country. While there are 22 official languages, Hindi and its variants are the largest spoken language in the country. Additionally Urdu, the next prominently spoken language, is mutually intelligible with Hindi. --Jeremy (blah blahI did it!) 15:15, 26 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Image[edit]

I am removing File:Indian_Cuisine_Title.jpg as food shown is not eaten. The image used is some generic food seen in Image:title_Cuisine.jpg.--Redtigerxyz Talk 09:47, 2 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
