Wolves

[edit]

No other dog breed by nationality navbox includes any wolf subspecies. That's because a wolf subspecies and a dog breed are not the same thing at all, for a dog fancy or zoological standpoint. They do not belong in this template. And if they are not in this template the template does not belong on the pages. Indeed, check the guidelines for navboxes; navboxes are supposed to give reciprocal links, meaning that the navbox is only supposed to go on articles listed in the navbox. That's why I also removed the {{Cryptozoology}} navbox from Hokkaido wolf, as there's no link to the article there. And because it's a large navbox who's very appearance gives WP:UNDUE weight to a WP:FRINGE viewpoint, one that is completely unsourced in the article. As extraordinary claims require proof, I have removed it entirely. Therefore the cryptozoology box really doesn't belong to be there at all. oknazevad (talk) 15:09, 18 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
