Musicals?

[edit]

Why does a template called Noël Coward musicals consist mostly of stage works that are not musicals? I suggest retitling the template to bring it somewhere approaching reality. Tim riley talk 08:49, 3 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

A look at the template's history gives the answer. Before 28 March 2023, its heading was "Musicals and music revues by Noël Coward" and contained 16 such works. User:Britfilm then changed the heading to "Works by Noël Coward" and extended the content accordingly. The name of the template itself is a bit more difficult to change, but its heading and content seem to be congruent (apart from lacking play-/film-related template categories). There doesn't seem to be a navbox for Coward's plays alone, and this template is now deployed across all listed works. I think the navbox is working well as a navigation aid. Maybe it should be moved to Template:Noël Coward, but that would fundamentally just be cosmetics. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 09:44, 3 April 2023 (UTC) Yes correct I just adjusted an existing template. It seemed very strange there was not a template for Coward's plays. Britfilm (talk) 04:43, 4 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
