Basically I have no idea what I am doing. I am trying to make changes to reflect the current literature. Guadin et al 2009 [1] changes the way Pangolins are organized. The four Asian pangolins (M. pentadactyla, M. crassicaudata, M. javanica, and M. culionensis) are the four species of the Genus Manis while the four African pangolins are split between Genus Smutsia (S. gigantea, S. temminckii) and Genus Phataginus (P. tricuspis, P. tetradactyla). I made changes on each of their pages and on the Pangolin page and on this template page. I don't really know how to edit the template page or Wikispecies but I tried! The Gaudin paper has been well received in the scientific community but the Genus reorganization has not taken hold popularly.208.103.112.69 (talk) 14:22, 14 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
