Millideal is a private shopping club for people who want designer brand apparel, accessories and electronics at prices up to 80% off retail. Millideal was launched in 2011, and the first market for Millideal was Montreal, followed soon thereafter by Toronto, Vancouver and New York City. By February 2012 Millideal served more than 50 markets[clarification needed] in North America and 15 markets in Europe, and South Africa.

The idea for Millideal was created by current CEO Franck Zanré and Royal-Bank-of-Canada ex-Account Manager. The idea subsequently gained the attention of his former Co-founder, Mona Saidi, who provided "seed money" and expertise to develop the idea. So far there is no stats on the company value.

Competitors

Worldwide, there are over 100 sites similar to Millideal, including over 5 in Canada. However, by December 2012, only one competitor, Beyond The Rack, had been described as a serious competitor; according to one estimate, it received an investment from Wellington Financial of $10 million.
