Fundtool Inc

Fundtool Inc is incorporated in Delaware. The company mainly operates out of Carrollton, GA. It was founded in January 2024 by sole Founder Brian Preston. The purpose of the corporation is the creation and management of the mobile app Fundtool.

Fundtool Mobile App

The mobile application's main purpose is for users to start and run fundraisers. It is most commonly used for school sports teams to raise money for things like competitions, uniforms, and equipment the team needs for a season. It has also been used by other types of organizations like churches and nonprofits. It's largest fundraiser was for My Turn Baseball^[1]. One of the early adopters of the platform was the Kiwanis Club of Carrollton, GA. Brian has actually presented it himself to the group.^[2]

Origin

The company was founded in January of 2024 by Brian Preston in Carrollton, GA. Brian realized there was a disparity in sports leagues between those that had money to spend on sport equipment and those that didn't. Fundtool was started to provide a tool to help individuals on a sports team raise money for equipment. Over time the platform progressed to supporting a whole team fundraising initiative, and later to support other non-sports related causes.
