Hi, I am Polish guy active (from time to time) in various editions of Wikipedia: so far in the Polish, Esperanto, French, German, Dutch, Norwegian, Italian, Russian, Ukrainian and English ones (and several others).

If you want to contact me, please, do not write any messages for me here, but rather use my Polish Wikipedia discussion page, if possible.

Thank you,

noychoH

Another account

[edit]

I used to have another account as noychoh (written incorrectly with a lowercase "h" in the end; "noychoH", with the uppercase "H", is the correct spelling of the translation of my middle name into Klingon language). If you want to discuss any of my editions made then, please DON'T use that other page.

So far no-one has been able to tell me how to merge the two accounts. May be you know? NoychoH 09:35, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

But I think that after 6 years this disclaimer and this request became obsolete, anyhow. noychoH (talk) 05:32, 13 December 2012 (UTC)

The principal aim of Wikipedia

[edit]

I invite everybody to share with me one's opinion of which of the two seems more to be the real purpose of Wikipedia, assuming it should present some degree of scholarly attitude:

  • 1) presenting the facts as they are, and out of different theories interpreting the facts selecting those that are plausible, veridique, or simply - those that are true?
  • 2) making an inventory of all possible and impossible theories ever presented by someone about given facts, without ever making judgements upon them?
You are welcome to present your opinions in my discussion page. Those of you who want to know why I am asking such a question again - let them go to the discussion on Frere Jacques.

Yajurveda

[edit]

ॐ सह नाववतु । सह नौ भुनक्तु ।

सह वीर्यं करवावहै ॥

तेजस्वि नावधीतमस्तु ।

मा विद्विषावहै ॥

ॐ शान्तिः शान्तिः शान्तिः ॥

with Vedic accents:

ॐ स॒ह ना॑ववतु । स॒ह नौ॑ भुनक्तु ।

स॒ह वी॒र्यं॑ करवावहै ।

ते॒ज॒स्वि ना॒वधी॑तमस्तु॒ मा वि॑द्विषा॒वहै॑ ॥

ॐ शान्ति॒ः शान्ति॒ः शान्ति॑ः ॥

It reads Saha naav avatu (not: Sahana vavatu) - for acceptable translations see translation 1, or translation 2, although in the original there is no word for God, there is only a third person imperative: "may [he, she, it, whoever] protect us both" (so somehow some God or Deity is presupposed).
